About Ms. Guillebeau
My name is Ms. Grace Guillebeau and I am thrilled to join the PCA Family this year! We are going to make some amazing projects this year! I believe art gives you the opportunity to think critically about yourself and the world around you! This year our main objective will be understanding what it means to be an artist, how to create new ideas and where inspiration comes from!
I can’t wait to get to know all of you! Here is a little background on me! I have a BA in general Elementary Education from the University of Delaware and graduated in 2014. I gained teaching experience within the Red Clay School District and attended Delaware public schools most of my life. Since graduating, I moved to Chicago where I held the position of Volunteer Coordinator at the Arts of Life. The Arts of Life advances the creative arts community by providing artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities a collective space to expand their practice and strengthen their leadership. After a life-long love of art I am fortunate enough to combine two passions together to be your new Art Educator at Providence Creek Academy! My own personal art practice includes pen and ink drawings, graphic design, working with encaustics and mixed media. I have a small business creating custom created sneakers started in 2007.
